Years ago I wrote about Rackspace Cloud offering me a good server platform at a reasonable cost.

While I still have a few servers living there, I am pleased to say that I have found a new one that offers me an even better platform for my business needs.

That platform is the Century Link Cloud. Yes, the people that are most well known for phones and DSL internet.

Their cloud platform is very reasonably priced, and easily gives me the ability to add resources as I need them. If I want an additional CPU, I can add that. I don’t need to go with Rackspace or Linode’s pre-built templates where if I want another CPU, I need to add 4 CPU’s, 4GB of RAM, and 100GB of storage.

Their pricing seems to be lower than everyone else out there as well, except for maybe Digital Ocean.

I have moved many of my servers to the Century Link cloud and will likely keep doing that until they are all moved.
