The workshop of Matt Schnell

A good designer friend of mine also enjoys building stuff in his shop.  He builds a lot of custom signs and props for his rustic interior design work.  He uses a blog to post and track his work for the world to see, well mostly his friends and family, but others find it to.

Until recently, he was using Presstopia.  What can I say?  I worked in .NET when I set up his first blog so his site needed to run on a Windows machine.  I was to naieve back then to think about installing php on the machine and installing WordPress for him.

Luckily, moving the site to a wordpress site wasn’t too complicated.  Transfering the theme was a pretty quick process of copying and pasting css, images, and html to a WordPress template.  The posts will take a bit longer to transfer as we’re going to do it manually.  If I had time, I’d probably write a script to do it automatically, but it will actually be faster to manually do it then program it.
